SURPRISE came into our herd in the summer of 2004, thanks to the graciousness of Lynn Fleming.
She is a sharp, angular doe wwho stands on strong feet and legs and carries a beautifully attached udder. She has been slow to mature, but has been developing into a large, powerful doe - as evidenced by her LA scores at age 5.
SURPRISE's dam line goes back to the Chianek Herd, which had some exceptional, dairy animals with strong mammaries .. we are really excited to bring these genetics into our herd!
Her sire +*B Kastdemur's EXS Sequoia is producing outstanding daughters in Lynn's Lynnhaven Herd .. he has at least two GCH daughters and the udders on his daughters are gorgeous.
Sequoia's full sister GCH Kastdemur's FS Santa Cruz 10*M was lst Place 4 year Old at the 2006 National Show!
SURPRISE placed 2nd in a very competitive class of aged milkers at the Prince William County Fair, right behind her herdmade JIFFYPOP - her only show of the year.
She is proving herself to be a strong brood doe .. daughter Cherry-Hill AS Song Sung Blue freshened with a beautiful udder and placed lst in her only show as a milking yearling this year .. she LA 83 +V++ .. her litter sister SONATA is a BIG strong dry yearling who promises to be just as nice!
We have bred SURPRISE to *B Kastdemur's Simply The Best for 2008! |
