We have long admired Lynn Fleming's beautifu Lynnhaven Herd of Nubians and cannot thank Lynn enough for entrusting Jiffypop and two of her herdmates to us in the summer of 2004!
Jiffy is big,she is sharp, elegant, smoothly blended and stands on strong feet and legs. She also carries an outstanding mammary system that has stood the test of time.
Jiffy joined our show string in 2005, and truly was a gem - she placed 2nd right behind Magic at the SDGA Show in Leetown, WV and lst and Grand Champion - over Magic - at the Prince William County Fair! In 2006 she was lst place aged doe at Prince William County Fair!
And she topped off 2006 with a LA final score of 90 VEEE!
Jiffypop is sired by one of the Nubian Breed's great herd sire in recent years - *+B Kastdemur's Crown Explorer - whose influence in the Lynnhaven Herd has been nothing short of spectacular - he is a buck who crossed extremely well with many different doe lines for Lynn and whose many champion daughters include the 2002 National Champion Nubian GCH Lynnhaven E Paradise 7*M LA 90!
Jiffy is also the full sister to GCH Lynnhaven E July Extravaganza 11*M LA 92 - who is just exquisite herself.
We love this doe so much that we kept her 2005 son by *B Kastdemur's Simply The Best as a junior herd sire.
She has been stingy with doe kids, but we have her yearling daughter Jewel, sired by Best, who looks a great
deal like Jiffy and we think she will be a very special two year old in 2009. |
