HEART - or "Chicken Little" as we call her - is a combination of two strong doe lines here - her
dam is the last daughter of GCH HEARTBEAT and carries the blood of our beautiful GCH SARAH CANNON through both her Sire SOMMELIER( sired by *B Kastdemur's Aesop LA 90) and Dam's Sire SHAMAN. So we expected HEART to be a beautiful doe - and we have not been disappointed.
She is sharp, dairy and level .. and carries an udder that is extremely well attached all the way around,
being long and smooth in the fore, high and wide in the rear, with strong lateral attachements as well.
She also has the wonderful dairy temperament that is so consistant in HEARTBEAT and SARAH CANNON's
lines.
She was the last baby born in the herd in 2004, arriving in late May, and still placing 2nd at her
first and only show of the year.
She freshened for the first time at the age of 11 months, after we put the buck in with the doelings and
forget she was a late May baby! She has been slow to mature, but each year has consistantly placed well
at shows, and in 2007 as a 3 year old, she started coming into her own - winning lst place at her only
two shows, and earning her first milking leg going GCH at the Prince William. In her only show in 2008
she won lst place 4 year old in the Open Division at Prince William County Fair, and GCH and Best
Doe In Show in the Unoffical 4H Show there.
HEART came into her own in 2009, going GCH and BOB at the CMDGA Show in July, GCH at the
Howard County Fair and GCH at the Prince William County Fair, finishing her permanent championship!
HEART is our granddaughter Sammi's doe, and we are very proud of them both!
We have chosen to breed HEART to our ASHLYN son, ALL THE BEST in hopes of adding ASHLYN and
SIMPLY THE BEST'S amazing genetics to the strengths in HEART'S lineage!
