ASHLYN was our first AESOP daughter to freshen .. and we could not be HAPPIER!
She began her show career placing at the top of her class as a junior kid .. then freshened with
a truly gorgeous udder - very long and smoothly blended in the fore, strong laterl attachments
and a high, wide rear attachement .. she is sharp and angular and carries herself with a
great deal of presence .. and true to her lineage, just improves with each freshening.
With limited showing, she placed 2nd with lst udder 1x as a yearling .. as a two year old
she was lx lst with lst udder and 1x Reserve Champion .. and in 2006 as a three year old,
she was 1st 2x, 2 x Grand Champion, 2x Best Udder, 2x Best Doe In Show and 1x
Best Udder in Show! 2007 saw her easily finish her Championship, going GCH 3x and Best
Doe In Show and Best Udder In Show at the Prince William County Fair.
Ashlyn is our granddaughter Ashley's 'baby' and we are so very proud of both of them!
We bred Ashlyn to *B Cherry-Hill AJ Joint Chief this year - a son of our beautiful
Lynnhaven E Jiffypop 11* M LA 90 and Aesop LA 90 - which is a nice, tight linebreeding
that combines beautiful udders and excellent type!
Ashlyn is showing strength as a brood doe as well - her daughter AMAZING frehsened
with an udder every bit as beautiful as her mom - and placed 2nd 3x as a milking
yearling. Sadly, we lost AMAZING following an emergency c-section this spring. Her
daughter ALL MY LOVE freshened in May with a beautiful udder and promises to
carry on her dam's style and strengths.
Ashlyn kidded with 2 doe kids and a buck - all three will be retained - we are especially
excited to finally have a buck from Ashlyn to work with!
