AESOP came to us through the generosity of our good friend Paul Fox, of Foxwood Nubians, in TN .. who first
allowed us to lease AESOP in the fall of 2002 .. we were thrilled with his kids and when Paul offered to sell AESOP
to us in March of 2004, we were extatic! 

He came from a very strong maternal line. His dam, CH Kastdemur's Aubree, was the 2001 A.D.G.A. National Champion & 2002 A.D.G.A. Reserve National Champion and her dam, GCH Kastdemur's Crown Finale was the 1999 A.D.G.A. National Champion. Both won Best Udder at the National shows - Aubree twice! Finale is also the dam of GCH Kastdemur's Finesse 3*M LA 2-01 90 EVEE - lst place yearling milker at the 2003 National Show and lst place 2 year old milker at the 2004 National Show.

Aesop's sire, Kastdemur's LH Full Service, was the 1999 and 2005 National Show Premier Sire and has proven a sire
of ourstanding quality .. daughters include GCH Kastdemur's Finesse 3*M LA 90 - twice lst with lst udder at the NS ..
GCH Kastdemur's Santa Cruz 11*M - lst place 4 year old at the 2006 NS .. GCH Kastdemur's Terra Vista LA 89 .. and
Kastdemur's Always & Forever - Reserve Jr Champion at the 2005 ADGA NS!

His full sister GCH Kastdemur's Audacity 3*M was Junior Champion at the 2003 National Show and freshened with a gorgeous udder - she was 8th place 2 year old at the 2004 National Show and LA 91 EEEE!

Aesop's paternal sister,CH Kastdemur's Next Exit, was 3rd pl. Jr. kid at the 1999 Nationals, 2nd pl. 2yr old/ 2nd pl. udder at the 2001 Nationals and 3rd pl. 3yr old/ 3rd pl. udder at the 2002 Nationals. Her litter brother *+B Kastdemur's At Your Service is doing some exciting things in the Lakeshore Farm herd - producing several GCH daughters including GCH Lakshore Farms Ace of Hearts LA 90 - lst place 2 year old & Best Nubian Udder 2003 National Show!!

He was a tall large-framed and big-boned buck. with good feet, a strong straight back, and good angle to the rear legs. He had a nice arch to his nose as well. Much like his sire, Full Service, he also had a wonderful, gentle disposition which made handling such a big fellow easy, and he passed that temperament to his offspring.

AESOP proved himself to be all we had dreamed he could be .. and more .. his daughters carry his strong general
appearance,  long bone pattern, and size .. as drys, they are topping their classes .. and, as they freshen, the udders
we are seeing are beautiful .. with long, smooth fore udders, strong lateral attachments and high, wide rear attachments,
that are taking them to the top of the milking classes as well.

We had him Linear Appraised as a 7 year old - and he scored a 90 EEV.
 
He has at least one Permanent Champion daughter - CH Foxwood Fay Lee Meadow, who was 2nd place/3rd udder 3 year old at the 2006 National Show (owned by Donna Shepherd) ..and others who are earning GCH  Foxwood MacKenzie, 5th milking yearling 2004 National Show and 1x Reserve Champion 2006(owned by Paul Fox) .. Cherry-Hill AM Ashlyn, LA 3-0 90 EEVE, 2x GCH, 1x Res Champion, Ix Best Doe In Show, 1x Best Udder In Show .. Cherry-Hill AS Song Sung Blue LA 1-0 83 +V++, 1x lst/1st udder milking yearling .. Cherry-Hill AA Ally McBeal, 1x lst dry yearling .. and Cherry-Hill AF Curtain Call, 2x lst Intermediate Kid and 1x Junior Champion!

We feel truly honored and deeply blessed to have had a buck of this calibre working in our herd - and would like to
